Iraq: 3.7 Million People Displaced

Amnesty international reports that approximately 3.7 million Iraqis have been displaced due to war in their nation. Of this 1.7 million people have had to move within Iraq due to safety. According to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, 2 million people have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, with 700,000 having moved to Jordan, and about one million refugees in Syria.
