Irwin Cotler, the Globe and deceit

In an op-ed in the Globe and Mail, Irwin Cotler asks: ‘Why single out Israel?’

Following his opinion is this:

Prof. Irwin Cotler is a Member of Parliament and the former minister of justice and attorney-general of Canada. He is a board member of UN Watch

What the Globe and Mail didn’t bother to tell us is that Mr. Colter is also past president of the Canadian Jewish Congress.

Is that not relevant to opinion? Is it not relevant that most of the neocons calling for war against Iraq and Iran and whomever else are Jewish?

Canada’s foreign policy is being manipulated by a tiny fraction of its population but does the Globe and Mail have to participate in this chicanery by withholding obviously vital information that would help us to understand why Mr. Colter arrived at his opinion, an opinion that was, as he tells us, drowned out by a multi-national standing ovation to the contrary? Shame.
