Male hairlessness — nip this trend in the bud

“For men, hair removal has become the equivalent of putting on a suit,“ says Peter Papapetrou, a Toronto fashion stylist. “There’s something very polished about it. The perfect male form has that smooth look and the average guy is taking notice.“

He’s right: I’m average, I’m taking notice and I’m pissed.

Stop this nonsense now! If this is some sort of gay plot to seek revenge, well, I’m amused, but far from pleased.

Men everywhere, fight this trend. Nip this in the bud. Don’t let them do this to us. Please.

I’ll admit that I try to keep the ears and nose under control, but the day I shave my pits or decide I want to wax my chest will be a sad day indeed.

Peter from Toronto can kiss my hairy butt. I’ve had gay guys from ’round the world hitting on me because they saw that I’m hairy. Flattering kinda, but not being gay myself, I’m a touch weirded out by it. It just goes to show though, that trends have no effect whatsoever on how “sexy” someone is. It’s all in the presentation, and the eye of the beholder.

And the follicles of the beholded.

Almost all the women I know hate hairy men and think they should wax. Congratulations your bodies have been discovered by capital! And, if you’re not buying in to what is attractive for men, women are. So go out and get those waxing kits!!!

[...] think stylist Peter in Toronto just doesn’t want to run out of men to submit to the torture of wax. Like our free to shave/not shave sisters, men have [...]

it depends though, some women like their men hairy, while some prefer their guys hairless. though i think it’s pretty over the top when a guy waxes his legs. that right there is just a tad extreme.

http://www.matteformen.com is a great resource for male skin care products.

it’s cooler. much cooler and airier.
and fresher tasting, i’m told.
try it.
it grows back quickly.
