The ‘family values’ that Fred Thompson and his wife Jeri Kehn Thompson will bring to the White House if he is elected president should offer some fascinating shifts in the demographics of some heretofore staid institutions like, say, marriage.

In a country where trends are so contagious, their duet could make for some really interesting jump-shifts to the status quo.

I’m thinking that if they make 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue their love nest, the National Inquirer is going to blow the NY Times out of the water.
