Goodbye Mr. Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. died Wednesday at 84.  I’ve read many of his books, and always enjoyed them.  He has a fusion of humour and substance, but with so much imagination.  He showed us what was possible with language and ideas.

He also showed us what man was capable of.  Slaughterhouse-Five is a haunting description of the Dresden fire bombing.
