Who Owns the Media?

Megan Tady describes her article entitled Who Owns the Media and How the People Can Take It Back as a primer. And it’s a very good one.

She answers her central question by looking into Big Media; the Internet and Non-Commercial Media. What she discovers should be troubling to all Americans who believe not only in free speech but a diversity of opinion because, as she writes, that diversity is not only being throttled, it is on the verge of being strangled.

If you like primers and want to understand the media, this is a good intro to a disturbing picture.

Plus, it tells you how to get involved.
