The rogue nation to defend against rogue nations

The US says it needs a missile defence system to counteract “rogue states” like Iran and North Korea.

So, on the off-chance that one of these rogue nations has the technology and the will to fire a rocket against the US, it is building a defense system in Poland and the Czech republic even though that will deliberate provoke Russia.

There, in a nutshell, is the foreign policy wisdom of the Bush Administration: long-term pain for absolutely no gain.
