Israelis still more inclined to settlement, than settle.

In the run-up to peace negotiations in Annapolis later this month, Israelis continue to expand their settlements in the West Bank, an obvious sign of the good faith that will guarantee success of the talks.

According to Peace Now there is continuing construction in 88 out of about 150 of the authorised settlements, in addition to the building of permanent structures in 34 unauthorised settlement outposts.

What do settler leaders say about this? They express their pleasure about Peace Now’s report, thanking it for “documenting their endeavour.”

But look on the bright side. When transfer does occur, inevitably, the Israeli homes constructed in the West Bank can be the quid pro quo for the homes stolen during the expulsion.
