The Mysteries of the Shoes

Recognize this shoe?

It had a foot in it, a dismembered foot, the seventh one— seventh! to wash up on the Southern British Columbia shoreline in the past two years. Each shoe with a dismembered foot, some right, some left, some female, some male, some owned by the same deceased.

Weird and so far inexplicable. Here’s the story from the Toronto Star, Another foot washes up on Vancouver-area beach.
