Ill winds to toss the Canadian ship of state

The state of the Canadian Conservative party in one short page.

Toronto Star columnist James Travers does a terrific job in Ill winds blowing for PM’s ship of state.

These winds would be hurricane force if the Liberals were a credible alternative. But they aren’t and there is no reason to believe that under Michael Ignatieff they are going to be.

So our ship of state could be in for some rocky seas and with a captain most of the crew don’t have a lot of confidence in.

Happily, there are no bold journeys planned. Just a multi-billion dollar meet and greet in February.
