Roughriders to corral a stampede

For 100 years, Saskatchewan has been mucking it up in the Canadian Football League! They’ve only won it all thrice, 1966, ’89, ’07.

Think about that when the Roughriders line up against the Calgary Stampeders on Sunday.

Think about the party.

Saskatchewan has enjoyed a bit of a renaissance in the past few years. Would winning the Grey Cup ever put a whack of icing on that cake.

You’ve got to love a team whose best player is a slotback named Weston Dressler, a walk-on from the North Dakota Fighting Sioux who is listed at 5’7″ 179 pounds. And a broken leg.
