Global Warming: who in the US is a believer?

There is such an out-cry in the US about Global Warming, it makes you wonder who is a believer?

Here are some recent stats from the Washington Post:

• 72% of Americans believe in Global Warming

• that’s down from 82% last year

• 55% (of respondents) think the US should curb its carbon output even if major developing nations do less

• only 54% of Republicans believe in that a climate change is happening

• 71% of Independent US voters are believers, that’s down from 86%

• 86% of Democrats are believers.

• A slight majority of Americans support legislation to cap emissions and trade pollution allowances.
